Terms & Conditions

 

Using Parent & Child Guidance website means you accept these Terms & Conditions, including the

Private Policy and Disclaimer and that you agree to be bound by them once booking has been made.

 

Prices, Payments and Refunds

  • All pricing will be specified during the initial telephone call, this will depend on the services you require. Please be aware these prices may change occasionally.

  • There will be £15 deposit for home visits, one to one or group sessions. An invoice will be sent before the visit. Full payment is required 24 hours prior to the visit, if payment is not made in this time the appointment will be cancelled.

  • Please be aware appointments will be confirmed once deposit has been received.

  • If you selected to have support via telephone call, payment will need to be made before-hand. If the full payment is not received within 24 hours prior to the appointment, this appointment will be cancelled.

Cancellations

  • Where late cancellations are notified with less than 48 hours’ notice your deposit will be non-refundable.

  • If Parent and Child Guidance cancel any booked appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refundable within 3-5 working days or appointments can be rescheduled if preferred.

Further information

  • A free consultation up to 15 minutes is offered to obtain details regarding the parents’ concerns; next steps and prices will then be discussed.

  • If selected to have support or advice via telephone call, this will be within a timeframe between 20 to 40 minutes. Duration of home visits are up to an hour, this will be arranged and booked with you during the initial consultation (should you wish to use P&C guidance services).

  • Full payment will be expected even if you decide to use less of the time arranged on the session date arranged.

  • It is the responsibility of the parent to follow the SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) guidelines when dealing with a child’s sleep routine. In addition, parents must seek any further support regarding their child’s health or development from their GP, health professional or paediatrician as P&C guidance offers parenting advice only. It is at your own risk if you solely rely on the advice or suggestions given by Parent & Child Guidance.

  • In order to see results from the advice, support or routine given, it is the responsibility of the primary caregiver to ensure that they are following the advice/routine given. If, consistency is not demonstrated or you are not applying the strategies discussed then the best possible outcomes are unlikely to be achieved. It is essential to ensure you are following the plan discussed and agreed. Parent and Child guidance do not accept any responsibility if goals are not achieved. 

  • Once parents have agreed with the strategies/plan, an email with these details can be requested. This will be sent out within 48 hours from the home visit or telephone call. If strategy/plans are not requested, then it is the responsibility of the primary caregiver to write notes to follow.

  • If location is too far for travelling, a telephone call will be offered.

  • If more time is required during a home visit or telephone call, there will be an additional charge.

  • If additional concerns are observed regarding your child’s learning and development, you must be open to using other services that are appropriate to supporting your child.
